GATE is a competitive examination conducted in India. It primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science.
Many top universities and colleges like IITs/NITs/IIITs/IISc offer MTech and Ph.D. admission through the GATE. Many of the PSUs also offer jobs through the GATE score. Check article opportunities through the GATE.
But, many of us don’t know, this GATE score is also accepted in many foreign universities as well. You can get admission for Ph.D., MS, and Master Engineering programs through the GATE.

Remember when I mention universities that accept a GATE score does not mean you will get MS admission with your GATE score only. GATE score is considered as one of their evaluation criteria.
– TOEFL is required.
– Universities shortlist candidates if your GATE percentile is greater than 90%.
– After that, there will be interviews.
You will not get direct admission through the GATE as usually happens in India.
Every college/university has a different cut-off and it even depends on the applications they receive.
